Job summary

Providence Seward Medical Center is seeking a Health Information Management Records Analyst for a fully remote, full-time role. The position supports medical record analysis, deficiency assignment to providers, and follow-up to ensure completion, in alignment with HIM management directives.

Requirements include 3 years HIM/Medical Record experience in an acute care setting; preferred RHIA/RHIT certification and degrees in Health Information Technology/Management.

Qualifications

• 3 years HIM/Medical Record experience in an acute care setting.
• Associate's Degree in Health Information Technology.
• Bachelor's Degree in Health Information Management.
• RHIA or RHIT certification upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and verify medical record deficiencies and assign to providers.
• Review work queues for completion and follow up with providers.
• Conduct monthly clinical pertinence reviews per established criteria.
• Document findings in the designated software.
