Providence Seward is seeking a Health Information Management Records Analyst for a fully remote, full-time role. The analyst will review medical records, verify analyses, and assign provider deficiencies to incomplete records, with follow-up and monthly clinical pertinence reviews.

Remote position across supported states, including New Mexico, Alaska, and others. Requires 3+ years of HIM/Medical Record experience in acute care; RHIA/RHIT credentials or relevant degrees are preferred.

Qualifications

• 3 years HIM/Medical Record experience in an acute care setting.
• Upon hire: RHIA or RHIT - American Health Information Management Association.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in HIM preferred.

Responsabilités

• Verify medical record analyses and assign provider deficiencies to incomplete records.
• Review caregiver work queues for completion and follow up on deficiencies.
• Electronically assign provider deficiencies in the documentation system of record.
• Follow up with providers to verify completion of assigned deficiencies.
• Perform monthly clinical pertinence reviews following established criteria.
