Providence Seward Medical Center is seeking a Health Information Management Records Analyst for a fully remote, 1.0 FTE daytime role with Alaska time zone hours (Mon-Fri, 8:00-16:30). You will verify medical records, assign deficiencies, and follow up to ensure completion, while performing monthly clinical pertinence reviews.

Qualified candidates have HIM experience in acute care and relevant degrees; RHIA/RHIT is preferred upon hire.

Qualifikationen

• 3 years HIM/Medical Record experience in an acute care setting.
• Associate's Degree in Health Information Technology preferred.
• RHIA or RHIT certification preferred upon hire.

• Review medical record work queues for completion.
• Electronically assign deficiencies to providers in the documentation system of record.
• Perform follow up on assigned deficiencies and verify completion with providers.
• Conduct monthly clinical pertinence reviews following established criteria.
