Job summary

Providence is seeking a Health Information Management Records Analyst for a fully remote role with Alaska-based hours. The position is full-time, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM Alaska time, Monday–Friday, 40 hours weekly.

Requires 3 years HIM/medical record experience in acute care and preferred RHIA/RHIT credentials. Candidates may have Associate or Bachelor's degrees in health information disciplines; remote work is allowed in AK and several western states.

Qualifications

• 3 years HIM/Medical Record experience in an acute care setting.

Responsibilities

• Verify and analyze medical records; assign provider deficiencies to incomplete records.
• Review medical record work queues for completion; follow up with providers on deficiencies.
• Perform monthly clinical pertinence reviews using established criteria in the designated software.
