State Collection Service, Inc. is seeking Remote Health Care Customer Service Representatives to handle inbound/outbound calls, resolving questions about insurance, financial assistance, and payments.

Responsibilities include processing payments, following client protocols, and maintaining compliance with FDCPA, FCRA, HIPAA. This is a fast-paced, team-based role with opportunities for performance-based increases.

Qualifications

• 1+ years’ experience in Call Center or Customer Service handling public inquiries
• Knowledge/experience of medical terminology, patient billing, healthcare insurance and/or healthcare administration preferred
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks
• Flexibility to work evenings and Saturdays as required by business
• Ability to work well in a team-based environment
• Bilingual candidates will provide additional support for bilingual calls

Responsabilités

• Makes and answers calls in the name of the client to resolve billing and payment issues using established work queues and call pools
• Responds to information requests from patients/account holders in a professional, thorough manner
• Secures payments or payment arrangements on behalf of the client
• Adheres to client-specific protocols and policies while performing duties
• Investigates and responds to client inquiries as needed
• Enters and monitors payment arrangements
• Complies with FDCPA, FCRA, HIPAA and other applicable laws
