Job summary

State Collection Service, Inc. is seeking Remote Health Care Customer Service Representatives to handle inbound and outbound calls about insurance, financial assistance, and payments. You will resolve questions, process payments, and follow strict compliance in a fast-paced team environment.

Ideal candidates have call center experience, healthcare billing knowledge, and flexibility for evenings and Saturdays. Bilingual abilities are a plus and equipment is provided.

Qualifications

• 1+ years in a call center or customer service role with public contact.
• Knowledge or experience with medical terminology, patient billing, healthcare insurance preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Strong organizational skills and multitasking ability.
• Flexibility to work evenings and Saturdays as required.
• Ability to work well in a team and collaborate.

Responsibilities

• Make and answer calls to resolve billing and payment issues for the client.
• Respond to patient inquiries in a professional, thorough manner.
• Pursue payment arrangements on behalf of the client.
• Follow client protocols and policies in daily tasks.
• Investigate and respond to client inquiries as needed.
• Enter and monitor payment arrangements and ensure accuracy.
• Adhere to FDCPA, FCRA, HIPAA and applicable laws.
