State Collection Service, Inc. invites qualified candidates to join our remote Health Care Customer Service team. You will handle inbound and outbound calls about insurance questions, financial assistance, and payments in a fast-paced environment.

Role emphasizes accuracy, professionalism, and adherence to laws, with potential for quarterly pay increases. Remote work requires reliable broadband and a secure setup; Wi-Fi is discouraged. Training provided.

Formación

• 1+ years’ experience in call center or customer service where public contact occurred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, patient billing, healthcare insurance and/or healthcare administration preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask across several tasks.
• Flexibility to work evenings and Saturdays as required.
• Ability to work well in a team-based environment.
• Bilingual candidates provide additional support for bilingual calls.

Responsabilidades

• Make and answer calls in the name of the client to resolve billing and payment issues.
• Respond to requests for information by patients/account holders professionally.
• Work to obtain payment or arrange payment on behalf of the client.
• Follow client-specific protocols and policies.
• Investigate and respond to client inquiries as needed.
• Enter and monitor payment arrangements.
• Adhere to FDCPA, FCRA, HIPAA and other applicable laws.
