Job summary

CVS Health's Meritain Health underwriting team is seeking an adaptable professional to price and quote stop loss products for Mid-Market and captive/alternate channels in a fully remote role.

You will support Sales and Client Management, prepare quotations and financial projections in Excel and Salesforce, and collaborate with cross-functional partners to deliver compelling proposals while aiming to reduce total cost of care for plan sponsors.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of medical insurance experience in brokers, carriers or TPAs.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong problem solving and decision-making abilities.
• Demonstrated analytical skills.
• Collaborative mindset and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance and consultation to Sales and Client Management on pricing and stop loss strategies.
• Prepare quotations and other financial deliverables for prospective and existing business with timely turnaround.
• Develop financial projections on prospects using Excel and Salesforce.
• Market and place stop loss policies, negotiating terms based on claims data and cost avoidance.
• Collaborate with leaders to understand impacts for customized requests.
• Interpret operational data and apply to fee development and financial analysis.
• Present to internal/external customers and business partners.
• Demonstrate knowledge of Meritain products and services and related systems.
• Contribute to presentations for customers, partners, and internal areas.
• Assist Sales in determining product mix to reduce total cost of care.
