Job summary

CVS Health is seeking an underwriting professional for Meritain Health to manage quotes, stop-loss pricing, and financial projections. The role supports Sales and Client Management and offers a fully remote arrangement with a diversified book of business, including Mid-Market and captive channels.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years in medical insurance underwriting, strong communication, analytics, and teamwork. A bachelor’s degree is preferred; Excel and Salesforce experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of medical insurance underwriting experience.

Responsibilities

• Advise Sales and Client Management on pricing and stop-loss strategies.
• Prepare quotations and financial deliverables for new and existing business.
• Create financial projections using Excel and Salesforce.
• Market and place stop-loss policies; negotiate terms based on data.
• Support sales with rate/fee explanations and underwriting policies.
• Present to customers, partners, and internal teams.
• Collaborate with leadership to tailor proposals and reduce total cost of care.
