Qualifications

• 1-2 years of medical insurance experience (brokers, carriers, TPAs, underwriting, etc.).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong problem solving and decision making abilities.
• Demonstrated analytical capabilities.
• Adept at collaboration and teamwork.
• Adept at growth mindset and self-development.

Responsibilities

• Provide pricing guidance and stop loss strategy consultation to Sales and Client Management.
• Prepare and issue quotations and other financial deliverables for prospects and existing business.
• Create financial projections using Excel and Salesforce.
• Market and place stop loss policies; negotiate terms based on data and costs.
• Collaborate with leaders to understand impacts of custom requests.
• Interpret operational data for fee development and financial analysis.
• Present to internal and external customers and business partners.
• Demonstrate deep knowledge of Meritain products and services.
• Develop and deliver presentations to clients and partners.
• Work with Sales to determine product mix on proposals to reduce total cost of care.
• Assist sales and client management in explaining rates/fees and underwriting policies.
• Maintain positive relationships with sales, client management, and internal partners.
