Paylocity is seeking a sales professional for a fully remote role in the U.S., focusing on developing business with mid-sized clients (49-499 employees). You will prospect, present Paylocity solutions, and close new and expanded sales agreements from a remote Jacksonville, FL region.

The role requires 3–5 years in sales, a competitive mindset, and strong communication, presentation, and time-management skills. Remote work is available nationwide with a performance-driven culture.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent required. College degree strongly desired.
• 3-5 years’ experience in a sales position.
• Ability to succeed in a competitive environment.
• Ability to maintain high activity standards.
• Proven track record of sales success.
• Critical thinking and decision-making skills to handle objections.
• Customer service orientation.
• Strong presentation skills.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Generate net-new business opportunities leveraging the company’s expertise and industry profile.
• Schedule and present Paylocity services to prospective clients.
• Prepare and present proposals with follow-up throughout the sales process.
• Organize and obtain documentation for clients to move to Paylocity system.
• Collaborate with internal departments for smooth client transitions.
• Develop prospects through telemarketing, referrals, and networks.
• Build relationships within broker channels and referral sources.
• Maintain contact with existing customers to identify additional needs.
• Attend trade shows and events to promote Paylocity services.
• Meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales quotas.
