Job summary

Paylocity, a leading cloud-based HR and payroll software provider, is hiring for a fully remote Sales position in the U.S. The role focuses on prospecting and closing new and expanded sales agreements with mid-sized companies (49-499 employees).

You will operate in a fast-paced, quota-driven environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions. Located in the United States, the role requires five days of availability per week and reports to the Director of Sales.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent required; college degree strongly desired.
• 3-5 years’ experience in a sales position
• Ability to succeed in a competitive environment
• High activity standards and strong objection handling

Responsibilities

• Generate net-new business opportunities and develop client relationships.
• Schedule and present Paylocity services to prospective clients.
• Prepare and present proposals with timely follow-ups.
• Organize and obtain client documentation for Paylocity onboarding.
• Coordinate with internal teams for smooth client transitions.
• Proactively develop prospects via telemarketing, referrals, and networks.
• Build relationships within broker channels and referral sources.
• Maintain contact with existing customers to identify new service needs.
• Attend trade shows and conferences to promote Paylocity services.
• Meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales quotas for the territory.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
