Job summary

Paylocity, a leading provider of cloud-based HR and payroll software, is hiring a remote Sales professional focused on mid-sized businesses (49‑499 employees) in the United States. You will generate new business, present Paylocity services, and drive proposals through the sales cycle from your remote location.

The role requires 3–5 years of sales experience, strong communication and presentation skills, and a proactive, self-driven approach.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of sales experience in a professional setting.
• Strong presentation and communication skills with a client-focused approach.
• Proficiency with MS Office and internet tools; ability to work remotely.

Responsibilities

• Generate net-new business opportunities in the assigned territory.
• Schedule and present Paylocity services to prospective clients.
• Prepare and present proposals and follow up through the sales cycle.
• Organize and obtain documentation for clients to move to Paylocity system.
• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure smooth client onboarding.
• Develop prospects via telemarketing, referrals, and personal networks.
• Build relationships within broker channels and referral sources.
• Maintain ongoing contact with existing customers to identify upsell opportunities.
• Attend trade shows and events to promote Paylocity services.
• Meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales quotas for the territory.
• Other duties as assigned.
