Job summary

Paylocity is seeking a sales professional to prospect, develop, and close new business within the Detroit territory. This remote role requires strong activity levels and the ability to build client relationships in a fast-paced environment.

Reporting to the Director of Sales, you will schedule demonstrations, present proposals, and collaborate across departments to ensure smooth client onboarding and ongoing satisfaction. A competitive mindset and excellent communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent is required.
• College degree strongly desired.
• 3-5 years of sales experience in a competitive environment.
• Proven track record of sales success.
• Strong presentation, written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to maintain high activity standards and manage time effectively.

Responsibilities

• Generate net-new business opportunities leveraging company expertise and industry profile.
• Schedule and present Paylocity services to prospective clients.
• Prepare and present proposals with follow-up throughout the sales cycle.
• Organize, complete and obtain documentation for clients to move to Paylocity system.
• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure smooth client transitions.
• Develop prospects through telemarketing, referrals, and contacts.
