Job summary

Paylocity is a cloud-based HR and payroll software provider looking for a proactive sales professional to prospect, develop relationships, and close new and expanded business with mid-market clients (49-499 employees) in a fully remote US position.

You will prospect, present proposals, and coordinate with internal teams to move clients onto Paylocity’s system while exceeding quarterly sales targets and maintaining high activity levels.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent required; College degree strongly desired.
• 3-5 years’ experience in a sales position.
• Ability to succeed in a competitive environment and maintain high activity levels.
• Proven track record of sales success and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Generate net-new business opportunities on a consistent basis.
• Schedule and present Paylocity services with prospective clients.
• Prepare and present proposals and provide follow-up throughout the sales process.
• Organize, complete and obtain documentation for clients to move to Paylocity system.
• Work with internal departments to ensure smooth client transitions.
• Develop prospects through telemarketing, referrals, and active networking.
• Build and maintain relationships within Broker channels and referral sources.
• Maintain contact with existing customers to identify additional services.
• Attend trade shows and events to promote Paylocity services.
• Meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales quotas; perform other duties as assigned.
