Job summary

Paylocity is seeking a dynamic sales professional to prospect, build relationships with potential clients, and close new and expanded sales agreements. This fast-paced, quota-driven role targets U.S. mid-size businesses (49-499 employees) and emphasizes a consultative approach to uncover value.

The position reports to the Director of Sales and offers a fully remote work arrangement within the U.S., with required full-time availability five days a week and potential on-site adjustments as needed.

Responsibilities

• Generate net-new business opportunities and prospect into potential clients.
• Schedule and present Paylocity services to prospects.
• Prepare and present proposals and follow up through the sales cycle.
• Organize, complete and obtain documentation for clients to move to Paylocity.
• Collaborate with internal departments for smooth client transitions.
• Develop prospects through telemarketing, referrals, and networks.
• Build relationships within the Broker channel and other referrals.
• Maintain contact with existing customers to identify new service needs.
• Attend trade shows and events to promote Paylocity services.
• Meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales quotas.
