Job summary

Paylocity, a leading cloud-based HR and payroll software provider, is hiring for a remote Sales role in the United States (Inland Empire focus). You will prospect, develop, and close new business while managing relationships with prospective clients and brokers.

The position is quota-driven and requires strong presentation and communication skills, with heavy emphasis on independence and initiative. You’ll report to the Director of Sales and work from a remote location within the U.S., with

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent required. College degree strongly desired.
• 3-5 years’ experience in a sales position.
• Ability to succeed in a competitive environment.
• Ability to maintain high activity standards.
• Proven track record of sales success.
• Strong presentation skills and communication skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office applications and the Internet.

Responsibilities

• Generate net-new business opportunities and prospects.
• Schedule and present Paylocity services to prospective clients.
• Prepare and present proposals and follow up through the sales process.
• Organize and obtain documentation for clients to move to Paylocity system.
• Coordinate with internal departments for smooth client transition.
• Develop prospects through telemarketing, referrals and networks.
• Maintain relationships within the Broker channel and other referral sources.
• Manage existing client relationships to identify needs for additional services.
• Attend trade shows and conferences to promote Paylocity services.
• Meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales quotas.
