Job summary

Paylocity, a leading provider of cloud-based HR and payroll software, seeks a driven sales professional for a fully remote U.S. role. You will prospect, present Paylocity services, and close new and expanded agreements with medium-sized businesses in a quota-driven environment.

Based in the greater New York City area, you report to the Director of Sales and collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding and service delivery. Strong communication and presentation skills are essential.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent required; college degree strongly desired.
• 3–5 years’ experience in a sales position.
• Ability to succeed in a competitive environment.
• Ability to maintain high activity standards.
• Proven track record of sales success.
• Strong presentation skills.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Generate net-new business opportunities and pursue new clients.
• Schedule and present Paylocity services to prospective clients.
• Prepare and present proposals with follow-up throughout the sales cycle.
• Move clients through the sales process and close deals.
• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure smooth transitions for clients.
