Job summary

Paylocity is seeking an HCM Account Executive to join the Sales & Marketing team. This fully remote role serves clients across the United States, focusing on new business development and expanding existing relationships.

You will hunt for opportunities, present solutions, and drive revenue in a fast-paced, quota-driven environment. Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in sales, strong communication and presentation skills, and a proven ability to close deals.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of sales experience in a quota-driven environment.
• Proven track record of closing new business.
• Ability to generate opportunities and manage the sales cycle.
• Strong presentation and communication skills.
• Comfort with MS Office and internet tools.

Responsibilities

• Generate net-new business opportunities and prospect clients.
• Schedule and present Paylocity services to prospective clients.
• Prepare and present proposals with follow-up.
• Organize and obtain onboarding documentation.
• Coordinate with internal departments for smooth client transitions.
• Develop prospects through telemarketing and referrals.
• Build relationships within broker channels and referrals.
• Maintain contact with existing customers to identify needs.
• Attend trade shows and events to promote Paylocity services.
• Meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales quotas.
• Other duties as assigned.
