Job summary

Paylocity is seeking a sales professional for a fully remote role in the United States, focused on new business with companies up to 50 employees. You will independently manage the full sales cycle, generate leads, engage prospects, and guide them through a consultative process.

Expect to meet quotas and coordinate with cross-functional teams. The position requires 1-2 years of sales experience, travel within the territory, and strong communication and presentation skills.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent required.
• College degree strongly desired.
• Proficiency with MS Office applications and the Internet.
• Ability to travel within assigned territory and meet prospects in person.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Determine prospective customers’ needs for HR technology to prospective companies.
• Present Paylocity‘s tech stack to meet those needs in a specific geographic market.
• Prepare and present proposals and provide timely follow-up throughout the sales process.
• Complete and obtain documentation for data conversion from previous payroll provider to Paylocity.
• Work cross functionally to ensure smooth transition to Paylocity.
