Job summary

Paylocity is seeking a results-driven sales professional to generate new business with firms of up to 50 employees. You will own the full sales cycle—from lead generation to proposals and closing—in a fast-paced, quota-driven environment.

Based remotely in the US, you will travel as needed, present our HR/payroll tech stack, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a smooth client transition while building CPA relationships and attending industry events.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent required. College degree strongly desired.
• 1-2 years’ proven experience in a sales position.
• Ability to travel within the territory and meet prospects in person.
• Strong in a competitive environment with high activity standards.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills.
• Customer service orientation and problem-solving mindset.
• Proficiency with MS Office and internet tools.

Responsibilities

• Generate leads and engage prospective clients in a defined territory.
• Present Paylocity’s tech stack to meet client needs in the market.
• Prepare proposals and follow up through the sales cycle.
• Assist in data conversion from prior providers to Paylocity.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure smooth client transitions.
• Develop prospects via telemarketing, referrals, and networks.
• Build CPA relationships and attend industry events.
• Meet or exceed monthly and annual sales quotas.
