Job summary

Paylocity is hiring for a remote Sales & Marketing professional to develop new business with companies up to 50 employees. You’ll own the full sales cycle, from prospecting to closing, in a fast-paced, quota-driven environment.

You’ll generate leads, engage prospective clients, and guide them through a consultative process while building strong relationships with CPAs and partners across the U.S. Travel within the territory is required.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent; college degree desirable.
• 1-2 years proven sales experience.
• Willingness to travel within the territory and meet prospects in person.
• Ability to succeed in a competitive environment and maintain high activity levels.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Determine prospective customers’ needs for HR technology in the target market.
• Present Paylocity’s tech stack to meet those needs in a geographic area.
• Prepare and present proposals; follow up through the sales process.
• Coordinate data conversions from client payroll providers to Paylocity.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure a smooth client transition.
• Develop prospects via calls, referrals, and networks.
• Build CPA relationships and maintain ongoing partnerships.
• Attend events to promote Paylocity services.
• Meet or exceed monthly and annual sales quotas.
• Other duties as assigned.
