Job summary

MPS LTD is seeking a Business Development and Account Manager for a US-based remote role. You will own a defined portfolio of client accounts, deepen relationships, identify growth opportunities, and coordinate with subject-matter experts to close new business.

You will serve as the main contact for assigned accounts, manage the full sales lifecycle from qualification to deal closure, and uphold accurate pipeline records while representing MPS at industry events. Travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Several years of account management or sales experience.
• Experience in publishing or scholarly markets preferred.
• Proven ability to own revenue targets and measure against performance metrics.
• Strong verbal and written communication across all client levels.
• CRM experience; Zoho preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for assigned accounts with clear ownership.
• Develop relationships beyond renewal-based engagement.
• Identify growth opportunities and coordinate SME support.
• Generate and pursue leads through outreach, referrals, and events.
• Manage opportunity lifecycle from qualification to closing.
• Maintain accurate pipeline and CRM records.
• Represent MPS at conferences and events, with travel as needed.
