Job summary

onX is seeking a Director of Growth Engineering to lead Growth engineering across iOS, Android, and Web, driving user acquisition, activation, and conversion while targeting ARR and LTV improvements. You will shape strategy with Product, collaborate with Marketing, and ensure engineering excellence across platforms.

The role requires proven leadership in mobile and web, deep SDLC discipline, and a passion for experimentation and AI-enabled growth.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in technical leadership across growth teams, mobile and web.
• Experience with marketing/product/engineering cross‑functional collaboration.
• Solid SDLC practices (testing, code reviews, incident response, observability).
• Experience managing complex subscription lifecycles and payments integration.

Responsibilities

• Define and communicate a multi-year Growth Engineering Strategy aligned with goals.
• Oversee design of scalable, secure growth systems and set technical standards.
• Lead and mentor Engineering Managers and Software Engineers across backend, mobile, and Web.
• Collaborate with UA, MA, Data Engineering, and BI to align engineering with campaigns and metrics.
