MaintainX, a leading mobile-first work execution platform, is seeking an Engineering Director to lead its Platform division. You will own the roadmap for seven core teams—AI Builder, DevOps, Compliance, Testing Frameworks, Backend Frameworks, Mobile Frameworks, and SRE—and shape how a high-growth engineering organization operates at scale.

In this role, you’ll coach software development managers, set standards for reliability and CI/CD, and drive the AI-native platform strategy while ensuring

Qualifications

• 10+ years in software engineering with 5+ years in engineering leadership.
• 2+ years managing managers across multiple teams.
• Experience owning platform-focused teams at growth-stage B2B SaaS.

Responsibilities

• Own the Platform Engineering roadmap and operating model across seven teams.
• Lead and develop seven SDM teams, coaching on people development and culture.
• Set engineering standards, CI/CD health, and reliability targets.
• Drive AI-native platform strategy and leverage AI Builder, agent orchestration.
• Ensure division reliability with SLOs, incident response, and prevention path.
• Collaborate with CTO and other leaders on org design and headcount planning.
• Present engineering priorities to executive stakeholders and align with business goals.
