Job summary

Upstart is seeking a Director, Software Engineering, Mobile Platform to lead and scale its mobile organization, ensuring a seamless, high-performing customer experience across iOS and Android.

You will recruit, mentor, and lead engineering leaders, drive CI/CD, testing, and deployment, and collaborate with Product, Design, and Analytics to deliver customer-centric mobile solutions. This remote role supports working from anywhere in the United States.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading mobile engineering teams in high-growth consumer technology companies.
• Strong background in native mobile development using React Native (iOS/Android preferred).
• Demonstrated ability to scale and structure teams with technical leadership and people management.
• Experience partnering with Product, Design, and Analytics to build user-centric mobile experiences.
