GitLab is hiring a Senior Director, Global SME Solutions Architecture to build and lead three regional SME teams (AMER, EMEA and APJ) covering Security & Compliance, Platform, Core DevSecOps, and AI & Competitive. This leader will partner with Sales, Product, Engineering and Success to shape roadmap and drive transformational change.

The role is all-remote in the United States with a base salary range of $244,200 to $409,500 USD.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of second-line leadership in Solutions Architecture, Sales Engineering, or a technical specialist org.
• Experience building or scaling a regional/global SA team in enterprise SaaS, security or developer tools.
• Track record tying technical-team design to bookings and consumption outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Set strategy, operating model and global standards for the SME organization.
• Hire, mentor and develop regional SME Managers and the global team.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, Sales and Success to align roadmap with field insights.
