Job summary

Riverbed, the leader in AI-powered observability, is seeking a Manager, Global People Operations to lead day-to-day HR operations globally and drive improvements across the employee lifecycle.

The role oversees a small HR Operations team, governs HR systems (including Workday), ensures data integrity, and partners with Payroll, Benefits, Finance, IT, Legal, and Talent Acquisition to strengthen service delivery and the employee experience. This remote US position supports a broad country scope.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of progressive experience in HR Operations, HRIS, People Operations, or a related HR function.
• 2+ years of people management or team leadership experience.
• Strong HRIS experience, preferably Workday.
• Strong analytical, auditing, and reporting skills.
• Understanding of employment laws, HR compliance, data security practices, and policy administration.
• Experience with process design and continuous improvement within HR Operations.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• High level professionalism, discretion, diplomacy, and handling confidential information.
• Strong communication skills with stakeholders at all levels.
• Experience with tools such as NetSuite, Docebo, ATS platforms, or other HR technologies is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop two HR Operations team members and manage priorities.
• Oversee HR systems, data management, Workday administration, and reporting.
• Support onboarding, offboarding, HR inquiries, and service delivery.
• Ensure compliance with I-9, E-Verify, background checks, and policy administration.
• Identify and implement opportunities to improve HR Operations workflows and documentation.
• Collaborate with Payroll, Benefits, Finance, IT, Legal, and Talent Acquisition on HR projects.
