Job summary

Airbnb is seeking an experienced Payment Partnerships Manager to drive the vision, execution, and ongoing performance of our partner network supporting payouts to our global host community. You will lead business development, deal negotiation, and strategic relationship management across 200+ markets.

The role requires 10+ years in payments/fintech with a strong track record in partnerships, and deep knowledge of cross-border payout solutions.

Qualifications

10+ years in payments/fintech with 8+ years in strategic partnerships, business development, or enterprise account management.
Proven success in owning commercial negotiations and managing multi-million dollar partnerships.
Ability to craft and execute partner strategies that drive measurable growth and process improvements.
Deep knowledge of global payment methods, products, and cross-border payout solutions.
Understanding of payments cost structure and how to optimize it with partner levers.
Experience resolving partner conflicts across multiple markets or regulatory contexts.
International payments experience in marketplace or platform models.
MBA or equivalent advanced degree is a plus.

Responsibilities

Define and evolve payout partner strategy with Payments, Product, Compliance and Finance teams to ensure coverage and alignment with Airbnb’s goals.
Identify and structure deals with partners; renegotiate existing relationships to optimize cost, reach, and innovation.
Drive global deal execution for payouts and shape contracts to meet evolving needs.
