Job summary

Firetrace International, part of Halma plc, is seeking a remote Business Development Manager for Global Energy and Emerging Markets in the United States. You will identify, develop, and convert new opportunities across clean energy and related high-growth sectors, building a strong pipeline and strategic partnerships with OEMs, utilities, and developers.

The role requires 2+ years in business development or related commercial experience, a bachelor’s degree, and the ability to travel as needed.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of successful business development or related commercial experience in energy, industrial, or mission-critical markets.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or related field or equivalent relevant experience.
• Proven ability to prospect, build a qualified pipeline, navigate complex sales cycles, and convert opportunities into revenue.

Responsibilities

• Open new accounts and cultivate strategic partnerships to expand Firetrace solutions across OEMs, utilities, developers, EPCs, distributors, integrators, and asset owners/operators.
• Penetrate emerging markets with account-specific strategies and translate opportunities into actionable commercial initiatives.
• Consultative selling to communicate technical and commercial value, emphasizing safety, asset protection, and resilience.
• Coordinate cross-functional resources to advance opportunities from initial engagement through close.
