Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Biology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or a related field.
• Proven sales experience in Life Sciences, with capital equipment sales.
• Extensive knowledge of Next Gen Sequencing (NGS) or Single Cell analysis.
• Strong desire to win business and build long-term customer relationships.
• Willingness to travel as needed for a field-based role.

Responsibilities

• Consult with customers on technology solutions, translating project needs into business outcomes.
• Own the territory sales plan and forecast to meet or exceed targets.
• Manage end-to-end sales process from lead identification to closing, using Salesforce and IT tools.
• Develop and maintain deep knowledge of genetic analysis products and buying practices to stay competitive.
• Deliver high-impact selling presentations across the portfolio.
• Represent 10x Genomics professionally and ethically at all times.
• Assist in identifying and recruiting new sales talent as we grow.
