Job summary

10x Genomics, Inc. seeks an energetic Account Executive, BioPharma to lead field sales across the Northeastern territory, focusing on Boston. You will identify untapped opportunities, translate scientific goals into commercial proposals, and deliver technically rigorous presentations to drive growth.

Lead with deep knowledge of Single Cell Transcriptomics, Spatial Transcriptomics, and NGS, while managing a robust pipeline and collaborating with cross-functional teams for strategic outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or related field.
• 1–2+ years of commercial, inside sales, or field-based Life Sciences experience.
• Aggressive, proactive approach to opening new accounts; coachable in consultative selling.
• Basic familiarity with genomics technologies, specifically Single Cell Transcriptomics, Spatial Transcriptomics, and/or NGS.
• Willingness to travel frequently across the Mid-Atlantic territory to engage customers in the field.

Responsibilities

• Hunt and close new BioPharma accounts and manage a high-velocity sales funnel.
• Align scientific and business needs to craft winning proposals.
• Deliver technically rigorous sales presentations across the genetic analysis portfolio.
• Act as trusted technical advisor on Single Cell Transcriptomics, Spatial Transcriptomics, and NGS.
• Plan territory, manage pipeline, forecast revenue, and use CRM tools.
• Support team growth and represent the company professionally.
