Job summary

10x Genomics, Inc. seeks an energetic Account Executive, BioPharma to lead field sales across the Mid-Atlantic in a remote-capable role.

You will hunt for new business, qualify opportunities, and close deals by translating scientific capabilities into value for BioPharma customers. In this consultative position, you will combine knowledge of Single Cell Transcriptomics, Spatial Transcriptomics, and NGS with strategic territory planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or a related scientific field (or equivalent).
• 1-2+ years of commercial, inside sales, or field-based experience in Life Sciences.
• Aggressive, proactive approach to opening new accounts and being coachable in consultative selling.
• Basic familiarity with genomics technologies and eagerness to master the science.

Responsibilities

• Hunt and close new BioPharma accounts, managing a high-velocity sales funnel from discovery to close.
• Uncover scientific goals and business objectives to craft winning commercial proposals.
• Deliver technically rigorous sales presentations across the genetic analysis portfolio.
