Blacksmith Agency LLC, a remote agency building websites and running paid and organic programs for US clients, seeks a General Manager to run the company day to day. You will oversee sales, recruiting, delivery and marketing, reporting to the founder, with the role occupying the core leadership seat.

You own the weekly rhythm, department leadership, profitability focus, client contracting discussions, and the development of leaders.

Qualifications

• Track record leading sales teams with quota against targets in an agency or services business.
• Experience in agencies (digital, marketing or creative) or SaaS/professional services selling.
• Experience managing multiple functions under one leader and driving performance.
• Experience growing teams from smaller to larger headcounts.
• Ownership of profitability and margins, not just revenue.
• Proven negotiation experience with contracts and vendors.
• Strong communication skills with multiple stakeholders.

Responsabilités

• Own four department leads: performance, development, reviews, and escalations.
• Define and manage the weekly meeting rhythm and quarterly priorities.
• Drive margin on delivery and decide which business to take or decline.
• Lead commercial conversations, client contracts, and vendor terms.
• Develop leaders and coach them into effective operators.
• Make day-to-day decisions alongside the founder to accelerate outcomes.
