Job summary

Blacksmith Agency LLC is seeking a hands-on General Manager to run the company day to day in a remote, US/Canada context. You will oversee sales, recruiting, delivery and marketing, reporting to the founder, and shaping the company’s growth.

You bring a senior sales leadership background in a service business, with experience coaching leaders, managing budgets, negotiating client contracts, and building scalable operations across multiple teams.

Qualifications

• Must have led sales teams against a quota and driven revenue growth.
• Experience in digital, marketing, or creative agencies is highly preferred.
• Strong track record of coaching leaders and building scalable teams.
• Proven ability to negotiate client contracts and vendor terms.

Responsibilities

• Run the company day-to-day across sales, delivery, recruiting and marketing.
• Own P&L and margin decisions; decide what to take on and what to turn down.
• Lead weekly planning, prioritization, and headcount discussions with department leads.
• Maintain rigorous commercial conversations with clients and vendors.
