Today that work sits on the founder's desk, which is the whole reason it is open. You will oversee a sales-led operation, guiding four department leads, shaping weekly rhythms, and ensuring margins on delivery.

Qualifications

• You have led sales teams with a quota and managed a VP of Sales or CRO.
• Agency experience preferred (digital, marketing, or creative).
• Experience running multiple functions reporting to you.
• Shown growth from small to larger team sizes (e.g., 40 to 140).
• You carried a profit number with margin responsibility.
• Strong negotiation experience on contracts.
• Excellent communicator, able to align four leaders and a founder.

Responsibilities

• Four department leads: their numbers, development, reviews, and decisions when targets won't be met.
• Manage weekly rhythm, quarterly priorities, and trade-offs when priorities collide.
• Own profit by focusing on margin on delivery and cost of hires.
• Lead commercial conversations: client contracts, redlines, terms.
• Build strong operators into actual leaders through coaching.
• Handle decisions that wait on the founder today, and make them promptly.
