Job summary

Blacksmith Agency LLC, a remote agency building websites and running paid and organic programs for US clients, is seeking a General Manager to run the company day to day. Sales, recruiting, delivery and marketing report to this seat.

You will own four department leads, shape the weekly rhythm and priorities, and manage profitability, client contracts, and coach leaders to become actual operators, with the founder depending on day-to-day decisions.

Qualifications

• Must have led sales teams with quotas in an agency or services business.
• Experience scaling teams from ~40 to 140 employees is preferred.
• Strong negotiation and client-contract management skills.
• Excellent communication with multiple leaders and founders.

Responsibilities

• Oversee four department leads and their performance.
• Shape weekly cadence, priorities, and resource allocation.
• Manage profitability, margins, and go/no-go on hires.
• Lead client contracts and vendor terms negotiations.
• Coach leaders to become true operators within the org.
