Blacksmith Agency LLC is seeking a General Manager to run the company day to day in a fully remote capacity across the USA and Canada. The role centers on sales leadership, recruiting, delivery and marketing, with the founder guiding overall vision.

The ideal candidate has a proven sales track record with quota attainment, agency or SaaS/professional services experience, and a history of leading multiple functions. You will be accountable for profit and strategic negotiations.

Qualifications

• Sales background with quota responsibility and leadership of salespeople.
• Agency, SaaS or professional services experience preferred.
• Strong negotiation experience across contracts and vendors.
• Excellent communicator with the ability to align four leads and the founder.

Responsibilities

• Oversee four department leads with performance reviews and accountability for results.
• Own the weekly rhythm, quarterly priorities, and resource allocation.
• Manage profit metrics, delivery margins, and hiring decisions.
• Lead commercial discussions, client contracts, vendor terms, and negotiation.
• Develop operators into leaders and make timely strategic decisions with the founder.
