Job summary

Blacksmith Agency, a remote agency serving US clients, seeks a General Manager to run day-to-day operations. You will oversee sales, recruiting, delivery and marketing, and drive profit under the founder's guidance. A proven sales leader with agency or services experience is essential.

You will manage cross-functional leads, shape the weekly rhythm, and ensure the business hits its numbers while coaching Leaders to become true operators. Remote work across the US/Canada is supported.

Qualifications

• Proven track record of leading sales teams to hit quotas.
• Experience in sales leadership roles (VP of Sales, CRO, or GM)
• Experience coaching reps and running pipeline reviews.
• Experience scaling a services or agency business.

Responsibilities

• Lead four department leads and oversee overall performance.
• Own weekly cadence, quarterly priorities, and resource trade-offs.
• Manage profit, margins, and hiring decisions to hit the profit target.
• Direct commercial conversations: client contracts, vendor terms, and negotiations.
• Develop leaders by coaching and formal reviews.
• Make day-to-day decisions alongside the founder.
