Job summary

Five Star Solutions is seeking friendly, dependable Customer Service Representatives to support customers with natural gas utility accounts. This remote role involves handling billing questions, payments, and account information with a professional, patient approach.

Work is 40 hours per week with benefits after 60 days. Starting pay is $14 per hour, plus a $1 night/weekend differential. Paid training is provided; the employer promotes diversity and inclusion.

Qualifications

• 1 year previous customer service, call center, or office experience preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Comfortable working with billing and account information.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to navigate multiple computer systems.
• Professional and empathetic approach to customer concerns.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Comfortable handling potentially difficult customer interactions.
• Must be comfortable cross training on other accounts.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions regarding their natural gas bills and account balances.
• Process and assist with customer payments.
• Research and resolve account-related issues.
• Explain billing information, charges, and payment options clearly.
• Update and maintain accurate customer account information.
• Handle customer questions and concerns professionally and efficiently.
• Follow established procedures and privacy requirements.
• Document customer interactions accurately.
• Escalate issues when additional assistance or authorization is required.
• Provide excellent customer service on every interaction.
