Job summary

Coinbase in the United States is hiring a Software Engineer on the CDP Payment Acceptance team to build the stablecoin payment rail powering merchant checkout and onchain settlement. You will own end-to-end features across Go backend and React/Next.js frontend, implement durable payment workflows with Temporal, and ship APIs with protobuf/gRPC while focusing on reliability and performance.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional full-stack software engineering experience shipping production systems in Go and TypeScript/React.
• Relational databases design, migrations, performance, and transactional correctness is required (PostgreSQL preferred).
• API design and instrumentation of production systems with observability tools.
• Experience building durable workflow systems (Temporal, Cadence, or similar) or with onchain payment patterns.
• Strong communication and ability to write design docs, PR descriptions, and runbooks.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end feature delivery across Go backend services and React/Next.js checkout experience, including APIs and migrations.
• Build and refine the buyer checkout UI and wallet flows focusing on conversion, accessibility, and performance.
• Implement durable payment workflows using Temporal for onchain settlement, refunds, and reconciliation.
