Job summary

Coinbase is seeking a Software Engineer to join the CDP Payment Acceptance team, building the stablecoin payment rail powering checkout, subscriptions, and onchain settlement for businesses of all sizes. You will ship end-to-end features across Go backend and React/Next.js frontend, helping Coinbase become the trusted, high-performance platform for global commerce.

Qualifications

3+ years of full-stack software engineering experience shipping production systems in Go and TypeScript/React.
Experience with PostgreSQL including schema design, migrations, and performance.
Proven API design experience (gRPC/REST) with observability tooling.
Experience building durable workflows (Temporal) or working with onchain payment patterns.

Responsibilities

Own end-to-end feature delivery across Go backend services and the React/Next.js checkout experience.
Build and refine the buyer checkout UI with a focus on conversion, accessibility, and performance.
Implement durable payment workflows using Temporal for onchain settlement, refunds, and reconciliation.
Instrument changes with structured logs, metrics, and Datadog traces; own on-call rotation for services shipped.
Collaborate with Product, Design, and Engineering teams to integrate Payment Acceptance into the Coinbase platform.
