Job summary

AAA Club Alliance is seeking an experienced Full-Service Travel Agent to work remotely in the Travel Contact Center. You will plan and book domestic and international vacations, assist Members and non-Members via phone, email, and web chat, and build lasting client relationships.

The role offers paid virtual training, a comprehensive benefits package, and performance incentives tied to sales and bookings. All hours are Eastern Time, with a rotating schedule including weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; travel school graduates encouraged.
• At least 2 years of recent leisure travel industry sales experience.
• Experience with airline reservation systems, ticketing platforms, GDS, and online booking tools.
• Strong knowledge of domestic and international travel planning.
• Excellent communication, customer service, sales, and problem-solving skills.
• Extensive knowledge of worldwide geography.
• Ability to succeed in a fast-paced, high-volume contact center.
• Ticket void and basic exchange experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan and book domestic and international vacations, including FIT itineraries.
• Assist Members and non-Members through phone, email, and web chat.
• Recommend destinations, travel products, and exclusive AAA benefits.
• Build and maintain long-term client relationships for repeat business.
• Stay informed about travel promotions, destinations, and industry trends.
• Process travel reservations in compliance with ARC regulations and AAA policies.
• Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell travel products.
• Meet sales and performance goals while delivering exceptional service.
• Resolve travel-related issues and assist with itinerary changes; mentor peers when needed.
