Job summary

AAA Club Alliance is seeking an experienced Full-Service Travel Agent to join our remote Travel Contact Center. You will plan and book domestic and international vacations, build lasting client relationships, and deliver exceptional service to Members and non-Members.

This 100% remote role is paid hourly with incentives, paid virtual training, and comprehensive benefits. All schedules follow Eastern Time, with weekend rotation and opportunities to upsell travel products.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; travel school graduates encouraged to apply.
• At least 2 years of recent leisure travel industry sales experience.
• Experience with airline reservation systems, ticketing platforms, GDS, and online booking tools.
• Strong knowledge of domestic and international travel planning.
• Excellent communication, customer service, sales, and problem-solving skills.
• Extensive knowledge of worldwide geography.
• Ability to succeed in a fast-paced, high-volume contact center environment.
• Ticket void and basic exchange experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan and book domestic and international vacations, including customized FIT itineraries.
• Assist Members and non-Members through phone, email, and web chat.
• Recommend destinations, travel products, and exclusive AAA benefits based on each traveler’s needs.
• Build and maintain long-term client relationships that generate repeat business.
• Stay informed about travel promotions, destinations, and industry trends.
• Process travel reservations in compliance with ARC regulations and AAA policies.
• Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell travel products that enhance the overall customer experience.
• Meet established sales and performance goals while delivering exceptional customer service.
• Resolve travel-related issues and assist with itinerary changes.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to fellow Travel Contact Center Associates when needed.
