Job summary

Affirm is seeking a Fraud Operations Manager to lead multiple Fraud Operations teams and drive scalable efficiency. You will develop leaders, set strategy, and ensure productivity and accuracy while fostering belonging and personal growth.

You will shape the operational roadmap, reduce risks, and optimize workflows with AI-enabled tools or automation. A strong, inclusive culture and strategic thinker are essential.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in disputes, fraud risk prevention and detection in FinTech/tech
• 5+ years in fraud management or people management roles
• Track record of strategic operational change delivering measurable impact
• Strong planning, risk management and prioritization skills
• Executive communication and stakeholder influence
• Experience leading teams through major change and ambiguity
• Experience with AI project-driven initiatives in operations
• Lean Six Sigma or data-driven improvement experience
• Knowledge of Python/SQL is a plus

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a group of people leaders and ICs across multiple teams
• Drive team performance using productivity, quality, customer outcomes and SLAs
• Foster a high-performing, engaged culture in a fast-paced setting
• Partner with recruiting to hire, onboard, and retain top talent
• Define and execute an operational strategy and roadmap
• Improve investigator workflows and compliance
• Coordinate cross-functional alignment and issue resolution
• Research and resolve risk events from process breakdowns
