Job summary

Affirm is seeking a Fraud Operations Manager to lead multiple fraud operations teams across disputes and compliance, developing people leaders and ICs, and executing a strategy to improve function, efficiency, and quality while fostering an inclusive, psychologically safe culture.

You will own performance metrics, partner with recruiting, translate business goals into team objectives, and act as escalation point for risk events, with a remote-first posture and occasional in-person onboarding.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of disputes, fraud risk prevention and detection within FinTech/tech
• 5+ years in fraud management or related people management roles
• Track record leading large-scale operational change with measurable impact

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a group of people leaders and ICs across multiple teams with feedback and career development.
• Define and champion an operational strategy and roadmap to improve efficiency, quality, and compliance.
• Drive cross-functional alignment by communicating team objectives and collaborating with partners.
• Serve as escalation point for complex merchant/user issues and drive incident resolution.
