Job summary

Affirm is seeking a Fraud Operations Manager to lead multiple fraud ops teams and drive scalable efficiency across disputes and compliance work. You will develop leaders, set strategic roadmaps, and ensure high performance with a strong focus on safety, inclusion, and business outcomes.

The role emphasizes data-driven decision making, cross-functional alignment, and the adoption of AI-enabled tools to improve workflows and productivity in a remote-first environment.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of disputes, fraud risk prevention and detection within FinTech/tech.
• 5+ years in fraud management or leading managers or senior ICs.
• Proven success setting strategy and delivering large-scale operational change.
• Strong strategic planning, risk management and prioritization skills.
• Executive communication and influence across stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop people leaders and ICs across multiple teams.
• Drive team performance using metrics like productivity and quality.
• Set and champion an operational strategy to improve efficiency and compliance.
• Translate business goals into clear team objectives and align cross-functional partners.
• Serve as escalation point for complex merchant, user, or internal issues.
