Job summary

WP Engine is seeking a detail-oriented FP&A Analyst to support financial planning and decision-making as we scale. The role focuses on managing financial reporting processes, optimizing Workday Adaptive Insights, and partnering with G&A functions to drive transparency and efficiency across planning activities.

The ideal candidate brings 3–5 years in FP&A or related fields, strong Excel/Sheets skills, and experience with SaaS metrics.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of relevant FP&A, corporate finance, or related field.
• Power user experience with Workday Adaptive Insights preferred.
• Understanding GAAP financial statements and FP&A processes.
• Advanced Excel/Google Sheets and financial modeling proficiency.
• Strong communication and collaboration across functions.
• Remote-first work capability and self-motivation.
• Experience in SaaS businesses and familiarity with SaaS metrics.

Responsibilities

• Administer and optimize Workday Adaptive Insights; manage users and models.
• Close monthly/quarterly, provide P&L commentary and analysis.
• Improve recurring reporting packages and board deliverables.
• Support annual budgeting and long-range planning; ad hoc analyses.
• Partner with G&A leaders on budget vs. actuals and forecasting.
