Job summary

WP Engine is seeking a detail-oriented FP&A Analyst to support financial planning and decision-making as the company scales. The role partners with the G&A functions to drive transparency and efficiency across planning, reporting, and budgeting.

The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, experience with Workday Adaptive Insights, and a solid grasp of GAAP. This remote-first position offers exposure to enterprise-level FP&A within a fast-growing SaaS environment.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of FP&A, corporate finance, or a related field.
• Power user experience with Workday Adaptive Insights preferred.
• Solid understanding of GAAP financial statements and common FP&A processes.
• Advanced Excel/Google Sheets and proficiency with financial modeling and reporting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative approach to cross-functional work.
• Self-starter in a remote-first workspace, able to multi-task and meet deadlines.
• Prior SaaS experience with understanding of core SaaS metrics preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer Workday Adaptive Insights as primary admin, manage users and models.
• Optimize integrations with source systems (e.g., Workday Financials, NetSuite, BigQuery).
• Ensure data integrity of Adaptive Insights; align netsuite, Workday and Adaptive data across systems.
• Manage monthly and quarterly close reporting with P&L commentary and analysis.
• Own recurring reporting packages and templates; support board deliverables and budgeting.
• Act as main finance partner for G&A leaders; forecast headcount and non-headcount costs.
