Job summary

WP Engine is seeking a detail-oriented FP&A Analyst to support financial planning and reporting within a remote-first finance organization. You will administer Workday Adaptive Insights, partner with G&A leaders, and drive transparency across planning processes to support growth.

The role involves monthly close, board deliverables, and long-range planning, with a strong emphasis on analytics, systems, and cross-functional collaboration in a SaaS environment.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of FP&A, corporate finance, or related field.
• Strong experience with Workday Adaptive Insights (power user preferred).
• Solid understanding of GAAP financial statements and FP&A processes.
• Advanced Excel/Google Sheets and financial modeling skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a collaborative approach.
• Remote-first workspace experience.
• Prior SaaS experience with SaaS metrics is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Administer Workday Adaptive Insights, manage users and models, troubleshoot issues.
• Oversee data integrity across source systems and integrations (Workday Financials, NetSuite, BigQuery).
• Manage monthly/quarterly close reporting, provide P&L commentary and analysis.
• Own recurring reporting packages and templates, assist with board deliverables.
• Support annual budgeting and long-range planning, and perform ad hoc scenario modeling.
• Partner with G&A leaders on budget vs. actuals, headcount planning, and forecasting.
